There was a time when Ginsters (from Cornwall) were all about ‘Real Honest Food’. We set out to find a Cornish rapper who wrote and sang honestly about his life, unlike the usual lyrical content of US rappers (girl, guns, Gucci etc.).
From out of nowhere (well, Redruth) came Angus – The Urban Doctor.
A track was produced (‘Tha Kingdum’, written by Angus), supported by a promo, a documentary, plus teasers.
The campaign plan was to host all the content online and use it as a lyrical gauntlet to rappers from other counties to compete with Angus.
